4th Avenue Treats - Increased Sales + Brand Recognition

Client Introduction:

Fourth Avenue Treats is a local Vancouver, Canada based company selling Vegan & gluten free treats.

Their vision is to awaken people's perceptions on vegan and gluten-free treats. They are constantly innovating and developing on full flavour experiences with every bite. High quality, inclusive treats everyone can enjoy.

When we spoke, Naomi had been in business for only 1 year - in 2021. With more people loving her treats & orders pouring in, she knew it was time to expand her sales avenues and invest in help for visuals on her website that was being built.

Challenges:

While Naomi's treats spoke volumes in taste, the visuals there was a clear gap between the past images of her treats vs what she wanted it to represent. When we discussed what she was looking for, her vision was for her vegan, gluten free treats to have a fresh, natural and of course, delicious look that attracted people to try them out.

Solution:

Taking this into consideration, I tailored an approach that would match her branding and vision she had in mind.
I went in and asked a whole lot of questions before and during our work together, to understand her business more intimately.

Naomi initially made her treats in her home kitchen, and even though she now makes them in a dedicated kitchen; she still makes them herself with lots of care & love.

We then worked on a few mood board options that would best represent her desired visual style and look that also represented her branding.

The one we went ahead with just made sense - images to echo this organic, homemade authenticity. All her products represented a freshly made look with fresh toppings, like on a kitchen island or table top, with tiny sprinkles, ceramics and wooden boards. Some shots looked like they were about to be served, to be eaten with joy.

Additionally, desserts can have beautiful, complex layers and details, which were an important element to highlight. We also shot some images that showed what the inside of her desserts looked like.

Results:

Since receiving the images and using them for her website, social media and marketing her sales have gone up, the community started to notice her products more, and her website has received more traffic.
Her products are available at multiple farmers’ markets in Vancouver (mainland), selling out many times. They are also available at stores and cafes like:
Pomme Natural Market POCO
Vegan Fried Chickun
Tera V Burger
Vegan Supply

She mentioned she get lots of compliments from customers drooling over how the products look.

Testimonial:

It’s been such a pleasure working with Bhumika. She’s hard working, dedicated, goes above & beyond for her clients! I also admire her sense of style & keen eye for the aesthetic, with great attention to detail. I know some of my desserts were not easy to work with, but she rose to the challenge & did a beautiful job! I now look at my online shop & marvel at how solid, professional & unified it all looks. Looking forward to working together again.

Additional comments:

The pumpkin pie slice was a hit this weekend. One girl showed up too late asking for them, as they were all sold out by mid day!

During our work together, I could tell that Naomi is so dedicated to making delicious treats, is always experimenting & is so kind. Her business has grown phenomenally & I’m so proud & honoured to have worked with her.
