Reintroducing The Writer Eats – A Fresh Take on Visual Storytelling

Hello, I’m Bhumika, the founder and creative force behind The Writer Eats. Today, I want to reintroduce myself and share the exciting journey this brand has been on.

Over the years, my journey has been one of exploration, growth, and deep reflection, leading me to where I am today—a reimagined brand that truly represents my outlook, values, and the passion I have for helping businesses thrive through powerful visual storytelling.

My Approach: Crafting Stories with Visuals

For a while now, I've felt somewhat disconnected with my brand; but didn’t know what it was. I knew that my brand needed to visually represent more than just beautiful images - it needed to be a reflection of who I am and what I stand for, with just the right spice added to it. This realization was the catalyst for my rebrand, which goes beyond aesthetics and delves into the heart of what The Writer Eats is all about.

I started my photography journey back in 2013 as someone simply exploring the world of food via a Samsung phone, and cultivating a better relationship with food having moved from Dubai, where I lived previously, to Canada. It became a personal passion—documenting culinary experiences, mishaps, celebrating flavours, and connecting with each dish. But as I delved deeper, I realized that my photography had the power to inspire others, to encourage them to eat better, live healthier, and appreciate the artistry of food. I remember thinking, “if I can make a difference in my own life, why not help others do the same? Imagine the difference I could make for others!”

That thought led me on a journey of creating for fun to helping businesses small & big, local & global build awareness, increase sales, and grow by crafting on-brand & stunning visuals. From working for someone to influencer work to commercial projects, my goal has always been the same—helping my local and global community of businesses make an impact. And trust me - it's been a wild ride.

Whether you’re all about that ‘live to eat’ approach, an ‘eat to live’ approach or prefer to keep it balanced, my mission is simple - to capture your brand’s essence in the most authentic way possible and help you grow.
